Bishopton Day<br />

Bishopton Primary School, Old Greenock<br />

Road, Bishopton - 12noon<br />

The parade led by St Columba’s pipe band will<br />

leave Bishopton Primary School at 12noon. Also<br />

in the parade will be SambaYaBamba who are<br />

a percussion group that play Brazilian samba<br />

music. Both will also perform in the main arena.<br />

Attractions on the day include dancing displays,<br />

football and rugby displays, live music, magician,<br />

vintage fire engine, model railway, pony rides,<br />

inflatables and charity stalls.<br />

CarFest<br />

Paisley - various venues - 8.30am to 4pm<br />

There will be classic, vintage and specialist<br />

custom cars, muscle cars, supercars and<br />

emergency vehicles, not to mention motorbikes<br />

and even a land train! Plenty of family-friendly fun<br />

with fairground rides, children’s entertainment,<br />

stalls, tombola and a prize raffle. The event<br />

will kick off with a procession of more than 100<br />

cars from Renfrew Road into the town centre at<br />

8.30am. The cars will then be on show across<br />

Paisley from 10am until 4pm.<br />

Falconry Day<br />

Finlaystone Country Estate - Langbank -<br />

1pm to 3pm<br />

Visit the birds of prey and take a walk around<br />

their homes and get up close and personal with<br />

the winged hunters followed by a flying display<br />

(weather dependent).<br />

Father’s Day - Bushcraft Brunch<br />

The Cut Visitor Centre, Cornalees Bridge,<br />

Learn how to make a fire and cook bannock<br />

bread then treat your Dad to a bushcraft brunch<br />
