Whether you’re a dedicated photography enthusiast, an occasional snapper or a smartphone<br />
devotee, RSPB Lochwinnoch is a great place to take some truly beautiful photos. Could<br />
you capture the essence of spring and summer when the reserve is buzzing with action?<br />
Swallows darting acrobatically over the water, baby birds taking their first uncertain flights,<br />
spring fl owers and our wildfl ower meadow bursting into life, while insects take full advantage<br />
of the sweet nectar hidden within...<br />
Entries are now open for our annual photography competition – we would love to see your<br />
photos showcasing the fantastic variety of life and beautiful scenes on offer at our stunning<br />
reserve.<br />
Perhaps you’ve captured our gorgeous autumn colours or were lucky enough to visit when<br />
the reserve was covered in a blanket of snow? Whatever your subject matter, if you’ve taken<br />
a great image – or want an excuse to visit and get snapping – help us celebrate the wonder<br />
of nature on offer at RSPB Lochwinnoch by entering your best photos.<br />
We are accepting entries until Friday 14th July at 5pm, and all photos will be displayed in<br />
our visitor centre for a public vote throughout August. It’s a fantastic chance to share your<br />
passion for photography and nature, and there are some great prizes to be won too! To<br />
