tribes <strong>of</strong> Baluchistan to which Rigveda<br />
attaches importance are Bholan and Bolnas.<br />
Although Rigveda mentions them only briefly,<br />
it has related all the geographical facts relating<br />
to them and also all their characteristics.<br />
The historical importance <strong>of</strong> Rigvtdais also<br />
apparent from the fact that it has given us so<br />
many details abcut, the cci.llicts between the<br />
Aryans and the original populace <strong>of</strong> this country<br />
at the time when the Aryans entered this<br />
country and during the period <strong>of</strong> their colonisation.<br />
According to Rigveda, most <strong>of</strong> the battles<br />
fought by the Aryans were fought against<br />
Dasev who were the former colonists <strong>of</strong> this<br />

We shall not go into these details. We have<br />
entered into the above discussion to show that<br />
the theory put forward by some British and<br />
American writers that the history <strong>of</strong> mankind<br />
