Keeping this<br />
view <strong>of</strong> history in mind, Islam<br />
has outlined those factors which can serve as<br />
common ground between the nations <strong>of</strong> the world<br />
and the brotherhood <strong>of</strong> man. The Qur'§.n has in<br />
many places pointed to those factors which<br />
govern the rise and fall <strong>of</strong> nations, and if we<br />
ponder over them and put them into practice we<br />
can shape a better future for humanity.<br />

The following are, in brief, the factors stressed<br />
