Rigveda is after all a book which reflects<br />

Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Bradley Keith and Pr<strong>of</strong>essorJacobi<br />
and other scholars <strong>of</strong> history <strong>of</strong> their calibre<br />
are <strong>of</strong> opinion that Yajurveda, Atharveda, their<br />
commentaries and even Jataka tales are pro*<br />
ductive <strong>of</strong><br />
useful results from the historical and<br />
cultural viewpoint and, with their help, they and<br />
other historians have compiled a connected bis<br />
tory <strong>of</strong> the political and social life <strong>of</strong> the Aryans<br />
and other Indian nations in the period following<br />
the writing <strong>of</strong> Rigveda.<br />
These scholars are <strong>of</strong><br />
opinion that, according<br />
to the testimony <strong>of</strong> the above-mentioned books,<br />
the tide <strong>of</strong> Aryan emigration in this period, eight<br />
hundred years before Christ, reached the river<br />
Saraswati and their politics did not remain confined<br />
