against the labourers and the helpless people<br />
this is wrongdoing or oppression, because they<br />
are being put to a wrong use. Now we have to see<br />
how oppression, injustice and tyranny take hold<br />
in a society. For this purpose<br />
we cannot ignore<br />
the conduct <strong>of</strong> the various classes. The class which<br />
starts oppression and injustice in a society has<br />
been call edmutrafln by the Holy Qur'Sn.<br />
These<br />
are the prosperous people in a society who<br />
are men hiving influence and power! These are<br />
the people who oppose every healthy change and<br />
create disorder in society by indulging in<br />
luxurious<br />
aa i comfortable living. They are themselves<br />
wicked and spread wickedness in their society.<br />
About them the Holy Qur’an says :<br />
['‘When We decide to destroy a population, We (first)<br />
send a definite order to those among them who<br />
are given<br />
the gojd things <strong>of</strong> this life and yet transgress ;<br />
so that the<br />
word is proved true against them : then (it is) that We<br />
destroy them utterly" (xvii. 16j.]<br />
Thus all disorder in a society is caused by<br />
the prosperous and well-to-do section <strong>of</strong> tb e<br />
