If you’re looking for something to do on the<br />

weekend, you can stop by the Barrymore, a classy upscale bar &<br />

restaurant located in the Royal Resort Hotel on Convention Center<br />

Drive. Laura Shaffer will be singing in the lounge from 6-9 pm. A<br />

wonderful Happy Hour menu will help take the edge off.<br />

Then you can meander up the street to Piero’s where Pia Zadora<br />

and Sonny Charles will entertain and delight you with song and<br />

storytelling. An upscale lounge will allow you to wear your hottest outfit<br />

and sip on a martini.<br />

You can also go to Texas Station for some R&B with Gregg Austin<br />

and special guests. Or check out Rita Lim, singing with Joey Ugarte<br />

and The Jazz Vibrations, at the El Cortez.<br />

You say you’re staying home Friday night, but Saturday will be your<br />

night out? If you’re on the west side of town, Downtown Summerlin<br />

has some local singers performing at Trattoria Reggiano or the all-girls<br />

band at Siena Italian Restaurant on West Sahara, Sherri Klein and<br />

the Sweet Sherri Pi.<br />

Staying on the east side of town? Try Café Mayarovsky on East<br />

Tropicana. Russian cuisine with a delightful Russian singer, Irena<br />

Nero, a Vegas resident and who you definitely need to see.<br />

Eat, drink & dance at The Italian American Club with Jerry Tiffe<br />

entertaining the<br />

enthusiastic crowd in<br />

their bar area. There’s late<br />

night Jazz at The Dispensary<br />

on the east side, or Blues at<br />

The Sand Dollar on the west<br />

side.<br />

Staying close to the strip?<br />

Piazza Lounge at the Tuscany<br />

has the smooth vocals of<br />

Windy Karigianes or try<br />

Blue Martini in Town Square.<br />

MacDonald Ranch of The Music of Cole Porter on February 17 th ,<br />

or Sun City Summerlin Starbright Theatre’s “Evening of Classic<br />

Broadway” on February 21 st and Solera at Anthem on the 24 th . Both<br />

productions under the direction of Bill Fayne.<br />
