acres of walls waiting to be adorned, there are smart
and creative ways to display the pictures that have
captured the atmosphere of your special day.
IN SERIES
You could also choose a series of images
to create a feature wall; in a row, up
a stairway or in a cluster as a wall art
feature. Depending on the size and number
of photos you group together, decide
whether the display requires symmetry and
uniformity or will be more eye catching
with an asymmetrical arrangement.
SMALL DISPLAYS
If you haven’t got much suitable
wall space choose some photos
to hang on a magnetic wire,
create a wedding photo table or
a picture shelf or make a collage
of lots of different images to have
printed and framed.
GALLERY WALLS
A gallery wall is a great way to
show off your collection. Like
creating an art folio, centre your
gallery round your favourite photo
or a large picture then fit your
smaller frames around that. Some
displays work best on a white wall,
others need a bolder back drop if
there is a lot of white in the photo.
SELECTING PHOTO FRAMES
Framing should be an integral part
of the picture process because
your choice can make or break
the display. Frames need not
be expensive, but they should
complement the photos in colour,
size and materials. Look for
vintage style frames to enhance
your vintage wedding images or
modern simplicity for a more
contemporary setting.
COFFEE TABLE ALBUM
A professional album may also be
part of your wedding photography
contract and usually contains
a selection of images taken
throughout the day. Alternatively
you can create your own album on
a computer to have inexpensively
processed as a unique book to share
with family and friends.
DIGITAL FRAMES
Digital technology has
revolutionised photography and we
now take hundreds of pictures on
digital cameras, ipads and mobile
phones. Your wedding photos will
probably include hundreds of shots
on a CD, so why not load them
onto a digital picture frame you can
view everyday as it scrolls through
your special day.
