gotten no results, but they still believe and they still want Jesus’ and God’s
help – so they go to this source themselves. It’s important to remember,
just as people claim to heal physical pain, there has to be spiritual healing
also. It has been reported that some estimated millions of Christians walk
out of churches and do not return due to spiritual sickness and
disillusionment, which is at an all time high now across North America. Not
only are church members leaving churches, but a lot of church leaders are
pursing other spiritual concepts like spiritual healing etc. Even though
believers may try to keep the faith, many may be sidetracked by:
• Anger
• Burnout
• Hatred toward the church or some of its members
• Hurt feelings
In order then to see if a spiritual healing would work, one might need to
examine one’s own spiritual diet. If yet a believer follows the wrong
gospel, it leads to resentment, and the Bible tells us followers’ sickness
can lead to spiritual death. Spiritual healings take place in the tree of
life, not the tree of knowledge, and good and evil can lead to death, if
one stays too long. Therefore the tree of living is a whole new concept
for those who rely on religious institutions – like churches, that may not
have a religious relationship with God. Yet after reading this
information, we know there are a growing number of pastors signing up
to help the spiritually wounded people (the Bible tells us somewhat
about spiritual healing, but it also states if you diligently listen to the
voice of the Lord, and that is right that is in His eyes. And give ear to
His commands; He says He will put none of the diseases on you
[Exodus 15:20]. Furthermore, the Bible tells us that God (Jehovah) is a
healing god and is the only one that heals the spiritually ill or raises the
dead. For example, in [Isaiah 53:5] the gospel refers not to a physical
healing, but a spiritual healing of our souls that were hell-bound
because of sin. The Bible mentions if you seek physical healing without
a spiritual healing, it’s like trying to cure a terminal illness with a
bandaid. Jesus preferred spiritual healings, because they are eternal.
We point out here some elements of spiritual healings:
• Jesus desired spiritual healings over physical because He knew
that eternal souls are more valuable.
