AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE SCALES NEW HEIGHTS
The 2017 QHA Awards for Excellence was the biggest
on record but we believe this year we can go one better.
Make no mistake, these awards are for you. It is your
chance to shine, kick your feet up and enjoy a night of
entertainment and be on the other side of the bar for
once.
Last year, we proudly presented 42 awards in front of
a record crowd of more than 1,100 industry peers and
associates, representing members from as far north as
Port Douglas, as west as Mt Isa, from small towns such
as Halifax and Mena Creek and to iconic cities such as
Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Nominations for the 2018 QHA Awards for Excellence
have now opened and members have until 29 June
to highlight the achievements of your venue and your
team.
The QHA Awards for Excellence are recognised as
the most prestigious awards in the hospitality industry,
honouring the achievements of venues and individuals
across a wide range of categories. This commitment to
excellence by our members ensures our state’s hotels
are some of the best in Australia.
The awards program provides members with a unique
opportunity to showcase your venues and be proud
of your achievements. For the winners, it also brings
a sense of validation whereby you can take credit as
being the very best in the business.
HOW TO NOMINATE
By now all QHA members would have received a
hard copy of the QHA Awards for Excellence Entrant
Information Categories and Criteria booklet. The
booklet and nomination forms are also available online
at www.qha.org.au
