advice you’ve heard. Couples
who make a true effort
through the doldrums end up
with a richer, deeper love on the
other side. We find new things
to do together; we look for little
things to share with each other.
We check our attention and
make sure to listen. You can
create special moments in your
relationship with your Eternal
Companion. Get outside and
watch the sunset He’s painting.
Look for what He’s doing in the
lives of people you meet. Go
on a mission trip. Volunteer at
a shelter. Compassion International
is always looking for people
to write letters to the children
in their program.
What scriptures are your favorites?
Share them. Last year,
my mother began reading the
Psalms into her phone’s voice
recorder. She sends the recordings
to us, and I can’t tell you
how grateful I am. I will always
have her voice reading her favorite
passages. Could you do
this for someone in your life?

Conclusion
The Bible is more than a book.
It’s a conversation. However you
choose to study, I pray you’ll pick
it up every day and spend time
with your Creator. In Jeremiah
33:3 NIV, He promises, “Call to
me and I will answer you and
tell you great and unsearchable
things you do not know.”
