The Moulton family
Let me now introduce Professor W. F.
Moulton, of Cambridge, England; his brother,
Professor R. G. Moulton of Chicago University;
and his son, Dr. J. H. Moulton of several colleges
and universities.
Professor W. F. Moulton of Leys College,
Cambridge, England, was a member of the English
New Testament Revision Committee. To him we
owe, because of his great admiration for it, the
translation into English of Winer’s Grammar of
New Testament Greek. It went through a number
of editions, had a wide circulation, and exercised a
dominant influence upon the thinking of modern
