Born in Cape Town, South<br />

Africa, Kelly Hoppen grew up<br />

in London, United Kingdom<br />

and began her career in interior<br />

design at a prime age <strong>of</strong> 16 when she was<br />

given the opportunity to design a family<br />

friend’s kitchen.<br />

Today, Kelly Hoppen is an internationally<br />

renowned British designer, author <strong>of</strong> House<br />

<strong>of</strong> Hoppen: A Retrospective and Kelly<br />

Hoppen: The Art <strong>of</strong> Interior Design, and<br />

style influencer in her first iPhone app: Home<br />

Style. Her characteristic clean lines, neutral<br />

tones and tactile opulence have defined<br />

landmark buildings, hotels, prestigious<br />

residences and iconic product collections.<br />

With 40 years <strong>of</strong> experience at the forefront<br />

<strong>of</strong> her industry and a minority business<br />

enterprise (MBE): a British honour given<br />

to a person by the Queen for a special<br />

achievement. Kelly Hoppen who is also<br />

the proprietor <strong>of</strong> Kelly Hoppen Interiors<br />

is passionate about making her style and<br />

philosophy accessible to the masses. Some <strong>of</strong><br />

her early clients include global A-listers such<br />

as David and Victoria Beckham, and English<br />

Actor Martin Shaw who commissioned<br />

Hoppen to design their homes respectively.<br />
