ParGolf People’s Choice Awards<br />

Leading golf clubs in Malaysia were recognised and celebrated in<br />
the <strong>2019</strong> ParGolf People’s Choice Awards held at the Carlsberg<br />
Brewery in Shah Alam.<br />

Organised by ParGolf, the ParGolf People’s Choice Awards<br />
recognises individual golf clubs for their achievements and<br />
contributions in the preceding year. This year’s fourth edition saw<br />
the top three clubs in each <strong>of</strong> 12 categories received awards based<br />
on the number <strong>of</strong> votes received via an online poll which ran from<br />
February 21 to April 3.<br />
“The ParGolf People’s Choice Awards continues to serve as a<br />
benchmark for the Malaysian golf industry, providing an indication<br />
<strong>of</strong> how golf clubs are perceived by the end-users, namely golfers<br />
themselves. We congratulate all the award winners and hope this<br />
will serve as an impetus for them to continue to strive for excellence<br />
across all spheres, from golf course maintenance and clubhouse<br />
facilities to F&B and customer service,” said ParGolf publisher<br />

Kota Permai Golf & Country Club led the way with six awards,<br />
followed by TPC Kuala Lumpur with five, <strong>Tropicana</strong> Golf &<br />
Country Resort with four and The Els Club Desaru Coast with three.<br />
More than 80 representatives <strong>of</strong> the golf clubs and other guests were<br />
in attendance at the presentation ceremony which also served as a<br />
golf industry gathering.<br />
