Mickey Turns 90!<br />

Mickey checks into W Kuala Lumpur<br />

<strong>Tropicana</strong> <strong>Magazine</strong> went to W KL in the heart <strong>of</strong> KLCC to<br />

join the globally famous mouse for high-tea in conjunction with<br />

Mickey’s 90th anniversary.<br />

After a lifetime <strong>of</strong> bringing joy to our childhood memories,<br />

the hotel honoured Mickey’s birthday with a scrumptious hitea<br />

buffet consisting <strong>of</strong> Mickey-inspired treats both savoury<br />

and sweet, like chocolate-shaped Mickeys and red icing for his<br />

pants, to sugar-coated and sparkly sweets.<br />

Two French artists were also invited to reconceptualise the<br />

global icon through Galleries Des Artistes’ art exhibition where<br />

eleven masterpieces featuring the icon are on display at Woobar<br />

on Level 8, and open to the public for viewing from 14 March<br />

<strong>2019</strong> till 14th April <strong>2019</strong>.<br />

The Mickey hi-set is available during the same period and is<br />

priced at RM168+ for two pax on weekdays and RM188+ for<br />

two pax on weekends from 3-5pm at Woobar, W Kuala Lumpur.<br />

Golden Evening For Hansgrohe<br />

Rainfinity wins iF Design Award<br />

Hansgrohe was presented with the iF gold award – noticeably one<br />

<strong>of</strong> the highest award for outstanding design at the iF DESIGN<br />

AWARD ceremony in Munich for its new Rainfinity shower range.<br />

This latest shower range opens up a new dimension <strong>of</strong> showering<br />

thanks to its overall composition <strong>of</strong> innovative technology, stylish<br />

design and superior quality finishing. With its contrasting black and<br />

white features, Rainfinity <strong>of</strong>fer an outstanding alternative to the<br />

characteristic chrome look <strong>of</strong> conventional taps.<br />

“We are especially proud that Rainfinity won the iF gold award<br />

because Hansgrohe creates new accents in the bathroom with<br />

Rainfinity. It’s the shower range for discerning wellness and design<br />
