Are you Tired 你 累 不 累 - Chloe Shee<br />
Chloe Shee has loved to sing since she was a child and has<br />
been making her musical journey as she performed at countless<br />
events. In 2018, she launched her first solo single ‘Are You<br />
Tired.’ Composed and written by her, the poignancy <strong>of</strong> ‘Are You<br />
Tired’ starts <strong>of</strong>f with the arrangements <strong>of</strong> piano and harmonic<br />
instrumentation followed by levels <strong>of</strong> emotion with her simple<br />
vocals. The song conveys the pressure and blindness in life<br />
that makes one forget oneself and it is to encourage the tired<br />
person to find joy in life again. In the current Mandopop scene,<br />
Chloe Shee’s song ‘Are You Tired’ could make listeners sing<br />
their hearts out to this sad ballad.<br />
"Ur cute but boring" - Lunadira<br />
Lunadira performed alongside Lorde and The Neighbourhood<br />
last year at Good Vibes. The Malaysian based singersongwriter<br />
describes her music as a blend <strong>of</strong> 2000s R&B with<br />
lyrical influences from English indie folk bands and American<br />
alternative R&B artists. She began building her career in<br />
music by covering pop songs and releasing them to a modest<br />
community <strong>of</strong> listeners. ‘Ur cute but boring’, her latest single<br />
surprised her fans as she made a solid case on why physical<br />
beauty is pointless without the personality to match it. The song<br />
is delivered in her signature low, sultry voice and accompanied<br />
by groovy beats and memorable basslines.<br />

Free Spirit - Khalid<br />
His single ‘Location’ reached the Top 10 on the Billboard<br />
Hot R&B charts in 2016 when he was just 19 years old and<br />
also earned 5 Grammy nominations in 2017. Khalid’s music<br />
is primarily influenced by the R&B and pop genres. This<br />
time around, this 21-year-old singer is taking some risks<br />
in his music by incorporating electronic sound. He has just<br />
released his latest single ‘Talk’ from his album Free Spirit in<br />
collaboration with British electronic duo, Disclosure. The song<br />
pushes a bouncy beat <strong>of</strong> crisp drums that work together with<br />
Khalid’s deep voice. The album is the culmination <strong>of</strong> all the<br />
growth and experiences he has gathered over the past years and<br />
it will debut on 5th April <strong>2019</strong>.<br />
Girl - Maren Morris<br />
The Nashville country music singer-songwriter and record<br />
producer just released her first new solo music ‘Girl’<br />
since her major label debut ‘Hero’ and its four singles<br />
in 2016. Morris was also nominated for five Grammys<br />
for her crossover hit ‘The Middle’ with Zedd and a pair<br />
for her poignant country song ‘Dear Hate.’ ‘Girl’ is an<br />
empowering and optimistic song as it serves as Morris’s<br />
personal reminder to not succumb to self-criticism. In the<br />
music video, Maren Morris highlights women in various<br />
situations as it seeks to illustrate the struggles they face in<br />
everyday life. The tone <strong>of</strong> ‘Girl’ is upbeat with a strutting,<br />
indie-rock guitar sound.<br />
