What September
and October
have in store for
PATRICK MURPHY
EDIT HAIR CLUB
It is still my salon’s first year in
business and the team and
I are going to be very busy
prepping and planning for our
very first ALFAPARF Milano
Fantastic Hairdresser Awards.
It’s a huge focus for us and
very exciting! I’m also going
to dedicate
more time to
social media to
get the salon
name out there
as much as
possible.
SUGAR CULTURE
I wondered how we could
top our most successful year
to date, but so far 2019 has
been just as – if not more –
exciting with the expansion
of the brand. Both Sugar
Coated, a new premium nail
and brow bar, and our second
Sugar Daddy
Barbers have
just launched in
the revamped
Frascati Centre
in Blackrock.
Peter Mark honours long-serving staff
EMPLOYEES FROM PETER MARK salons across Ireland gathered at the Westin Hotel in
Dublin for the salon group’s annual Long Service Awards. Seventy-five members of staff were
rewarded for their contribution to the salon group, with the average length of service between
them being 19 years. Seven members of the team received top honours for working for 40
years at Peter Mark. Collectively the staff celebrated at the event have more than 1,400 years
of experience hairdressing, or 2.8 million hours of blow-drying, cutting and colouring! Peter
O’Rourke, chief executive at Peter Mark, said: “As a company at the forefront of hairdressing
in Ireland for the past 58 years, we know how important it is to attract and retain the best
people. We place huge emphasis on nurturing the talent that comes through Peter Mark from
the moment they walk in the door. We provide a lifelong career in the industry and we offer
continuous professional development that is delivered through our world class training.”
