HESIO<br />

The health, safety and hygiene of our scholars, students and employees in their working and learning<br />

environment is a top priority. The HESIO committee meets quarterly to discuss and monitor the group’s<br />

progress in this regard as well as in Employment Equity (EE), skills development, social responsibility and as<br />

investors in people.<br />

To ensure that our sites are compliant with both International and South African best practice standards, as part of the<br />

group’s overall commitment to student and employee well-being, the group conducts external audits.<br />

Please ask your safety officer to direct you to escape plans and HESIO members to familiarise yourself with the environment.<br />

Of course, incidents are not common but we always need to be prepared and we will ensure that you are.<br />
