American Sign Language: Level 1
American Sign Language (ASL) is the visual-gesture language
used primarily among the American deaf communities. Using
the immersion method, all teaching is done exclusively in ASL.
You will acquire basic vocabulary and grammar by using ASL
receptive and expressive skills in class. No prior knowledge of
ASL is needed to join! Youth 15+ may register.

Beginning Conversational Spanish 1
Would you like to learn common Spanish phrases to survive
your first conversation with a native speaker? Perhaps you
are planning a trip to a Spanish-speaking country. Traditional
language courses are structured around years of study,
but in this class you will learn the basics to help you begin
speaking Spanish now in simple phrases. Participate in realistic
conversational situations to practice and improve your Spanish
speaking skills. No prior Spanish is required.

Mind-Map & Vision Board Workshop [NEW!]
Mind-maps and Vision Boards are proven techniques to take
you from idea to fruition in your writing, art, public speaking or
workplace. Mind-map your way to a more creative life with this
brainstorming technique that utilizes both sides of your brain.
You will create a diagram around a central topic, igniting ideas
and jumpstarting creativity. After the mind-mapping exercise,
you will create your own Vision Board, a tool that can empower
you to visualize your direction in life. All materials are provided,
including bulletin boards, push-pins, and magazines. Feel free to
bring a photo or inspirational saying to personalize your board.
Instructor is the author of seven books, including a book on
creativity.
