DAYS 4-5: RANCH
Drive out to Wildcatter Ranch in Graham
or Bandera’s Mayan Dude Ranch for a
taste of the cowboy lifestyle. Enjoy trail
rides over the picturesque Texas Hills
Country, learn how to rope and enjoy a
wrangling demonstration.
DAYS 6-8: AUSTIN
Known as the live music capital of the
world, Austin’s music scene is not to be
missed. Stroll down Sixth Street or
through the Red River District for some of
the city’s hottest bars and honky-tonks.
Visit the boutiques on South Congress
for unique shopping or head over to The
Domain for more familiar brands.
Experience the thrill of motor racing at
the Circuit of the Americas, or for a
more relaxed pace try kayaking on
Lady Bird Lake.
DAYS 9-11: SAN ANTONIO
Venture to the heart of downtown to
witness the Alamo at dawn, then
embark on Mission Trail to explore the
other four Spanish missions which
make up this UNESCO World Heritage
Site. Indulge in authentic Tex-Mex
cuisine in Market Square and stroll
along the famous River Walk;
connecting downtown, museums,
shopping and dining.
DAYS 12-14: HOUSTON
Encounter western heritage in an urban
setting. Pick up a pair of cowboy boots
at Lucchese or Texas Junk co. Stop by
The Hat Store to see the traditional
steaming process, then pick up your
complete western look at Cavender’s,
before heading to a lively honky-tonk
like the Armadillo Palace. Sports fans
should head downtown to catch an
Atros game at Minute Maid ballpark,
or see the Rockets at the Toyota
Center. No stay here would be
complete without a visit to Space
Center Houston, where you can go
behind the scenes at NASA Johnson
Space Center.

DAYS 15-17: DALLAS
Round off your Texas expedition with a
stay in Dallas. Satisfy your craving for
western cuisine at Fearing’s restaurant or
take the historic McKinney Avenue
streetcar uptown for live country music
and delicious dining at The Rustic. Walk
through the timeline of JFK’s life,
presidency and assassination at the Sixth
Floor Museum, enjoying the view from
the GeO-Deck at Reunion Tower. Stroll
through the Dallas Arts District, take a
drive through elite Highland Park and
shop ‘til you drop at Grand Prairie
Premium Outlets - perfect for grabbing a
bargain before you head home.
