70 years is not enough
The Oskar Frech Group, based in Schorndorf, will be 70 years old this year. The familyrun
company represents the ‘Made in Germany’ brand worldwide with inventiveness
and entrepreneurial courage, successfully competing against large corporate groups.
A Swabian success story that still holds many surprises in store for the future.
Those in the sector considering the
purchase of die-casting equipment
simply cannot ignore
machine constructor Oskar Frech from
Schorndorf. The machinery produced by
this Swabian family company, which will
be 70 years old this year, is found in
numerous die-casting foundries in Germany
and elsewhere. About 6,000
machines from the works halls in Weiler
and Plüderhausen in Germany, and
Fengxiang near Shanghai in China, have
been delivered to customers in 78 countries
over the years. Their estimated
output: many billion castings made of
numerous materials – from zinc window
and sanitary fittings, through power
tools made of magnesium, to aluminum
structural parts and gearbox housings.
In recent decades, the efficient and
increasingly networked machines and
plants have provided numerous companies
all over the world with
indispensable equipment for producing
high-quality castings – enabling them to
earn good money.
