LAST CHANCE TO SEE “KIND OF BLUE” THIS YEAR
''Kind of Blue'' l(a local modern jazz group) are performing their
last gig of 2019 in the Bell hall, Woodham Ferrers on Sunday
afternoon (2-4.30 pm) 15th December.
The gig will be in 2 parts:
The first half consisting of our usual mixture of jazz ''classics''
(some of them with a Christmas slant-e.g. ''God rest ye merry
gentlemen'') and songs from the ''Great American Songbook".
After the interval Pauline will lead us in a Christmas ''sing-song''.
All of this washed down with mulled wine and Sue's delicious
buffet.
Entry for this fun event will be by a reasonable £5 ticket, proceeds
going to breast cancer and Crohn's disease.

There will also be a raffle- so, apart from entertaining, the
afternoon will contribute to worthwhile causes.
Therefore, for one day only, you can see ''Kind of Blue" for the
last time in 2019- make sure you get a ticket we have sold several

2020
Next year we are going to try a new experiment:
We are changing the day and time of our regular gigs from Monday
to Sunday afternoons, 2-4.30.
This will make it feasible for those who hate the dark, cold evenings
to be entertained by "Kind of Blue".
First 3 Sunday afternoon gigs in 2020:
