Building Seminar for Public
Secondary School Teachers
in Delta State which held

KFT Place, in Warri.

organizers, Otuaro hailed the
initiative of the Teens and
Youths Ministry of the Christ
Embassy Church, Warri Minsitry
Centre, which organized
the seminar for the teachers.

saying that it is only the
foundation of God that will

He gave the advice at the
opening and dedication of

Grammar School new hall
dedicated to Pastor Samuel
Gbadebo Adegboyega.
In his exhortation titled,
‘ Building together with
God’, with Bible text taken
from 1 Corinthians 3 verse
9, Awojide said God is a
builder and He wants everyone
to be a builder adding
that anyone that is not
a builder is a destroyer.
Highlighting four things
a builder must know, he
said a builder must have a
plan and God’s vision to
pursue the plan and anyone
that does not have a
plan will never build anything.
He added that there
must be a foundation the
building is standing on
which without, the building
cannot stand. “God
must be the foundation
upon which everyone must
build which is righteousness
because it is the foundation
that makes you see
the structure and third,
God must be the centre of
what you build.”, the cleric
said .
“If the leaders of this nation
make God the centre
of what they are building,
there will be no chaos, kidnapping,
ritualists, paying
for ransoms just to mention
a few. Therefore, in all
you build, let God be the
centre”.
Awojide on the fourth

is for habitation and, therefore,
every leader must allow
God to have a place of
habitation in his live, saying

have a place, it will be
empty and the building
cannot stand.
He prayed for the students,
the nation and everyone
present that God will
make them leaders and not
destroyers and particularly
the teachers that God
will make them good
builders.
In his speech, Board
Chairman, Pastor P.F.
Usman, said the ulta modern
hall was conceived under

present board took up the
vision to actualise it.
Pastor Usman added
that the hall is purposely
put up for the use of the
school and not a commercial
venture, saying,
though the school can not
live in isolation because
the school is within the society
and so he cannot say
if somebody wants to use
it, the school can not offer
it for their use but it is not
purposely for commercial
venture.
Elder S.O. Ogunyemi,
the school administrator,
said he was grateful to God
for witnessing the dedication
of the new hall by using
the hands of the fathers
to put up the edifice.

CISLAC expresses concern over proposed travel ban
on Nigeria

Advocacy Centre, CIS-
LAC, has raised concern over
the planned travel ban by the
United States government on
four African countries including
Nigeria.
Speaking on the development
in a chat with Vanguard,
Executive Director of CIS-
LAC, Auwal Musa Rafsanjani,
cautioned against the proposed
move by the US.
He said: “We believe that
the travel ban is not yet operationalised.
It is still not communicated
to the Nigerian
government by the American
authorities.
“However, if this travel ban
eventually happens, it will
have an effect on Nigerians
who have legitimate businesses
in the United States.
There are so many Nigerians
who are doing business in
America and there are so
many Americans doing business
in Nigeria.
“Both citizens will suffer as
a result of this policy. Nigeria
may also retaliate. We
should not go to that extent.”
