To make the city even more modern and attractive,
public and private investments are growing at

City of Sorocaba are directly reflected in economic
and social development indicators and put the city
ahead of capitals and important cities in the country

import and export, income generation and longevity.
Instituto de Avaliação dos Serviços Públicos
(Indsat), for example, pointed out, for six consecutive
times, the improvement in the satisfaction index for
garbage collection, a service that reached a “high level
of satisfaction”. In 2018, Sorocaba was considered
vice-leader in the ranking of best Public Cleaning
among the 10 largest cities in the State of São Paulo.
