symptomatique <strong>de</strong> la transition entre le style rococo et le style néo-classique à Naples.<br />
Ce projet <strong>de</strong> frontispice est particulièrement élégant avec son lavis gris léger et les<br />
trois silhouettes dansantes, presque malicieuses, <strong>de</strong> l’ange <strong>de</strong> la Renommée, du satyre<br />
et <strong>de</strong> la nymphe.<br />
The present sheet, as well as the previous, is typical for the style of Domenico Mondo,<br />
a symptomatic artist of the transition from Rococo to neoclassical style in Naples. This<br />
<strong>de</strong>sign for a frontispiece is particularly elegant with its light grey wash and three almost<br />
malicious dancing silhouettes of the angel of fame, the satyr and the nymph.<br />
