L’atmosphère <strong>de</strong> cet étonnant <strong>de</strong>ssin est proche <strong>de</strong> celle <strong>de</strong>s œuvres du sculpteur<br />
Sergel, sans pourtant que l’on puisse le lui attribuer. On peut encore le rapprocher<br />
<strong>de</strong>s œuvres <strong>de</strong> Louis Masreliez, comme lui élève <strong>de</strong> Pierre-Hubert Larchevêque à<br />
Stockholm. On peut aussi penser à certains artistes néoclassiques français comme<br />
Fabre, à Rome <strong>de</strong> 1787 à 1824.<br />
The atmosphere of this surprising drawing is reminiscent of the works of the sculptor<br />
Sergel, although it cannot be attributed to him. It can also be connected to the<br />
works of Louis Masreliez, who, like Sergel, studied with Pierre-Hubert Larchevêque<br />
in Stockholm. The sheet also calls to mind several French neoclassical artists, such as<br />
Fabre, in Rome from 1787 to 1824.<br />
