The RSA building is not registered. The RSA Building registration was discontinued in 2010
(Mercer, Henry and Pattison 2010).
Additional Information- The RSA building was registered by New Zealand Historic Places Trust
(NZHPT) as record number 2695 Category II prior to 1993. It wos assumed the RSA building was
registered under the 1993 Historic Places Act until o 2tXJ4oudit revealed the RSA Building and
other heritage Items were not tronsfe"ed to the 1993 register by the Trust Board.

The RSA Building dates from 1877 and is protected under the Historic Places Act 1993, e.g. an
