Lutelandet is located on the western coast of
Norway, just north of Bergen, with easy access
for oil rigs and ships to and from the North Sea.
This huge onshore area up to 1 400 000 m² is
developed by Lutelandet Offshore (LLOF) with
yard, harbour and Europe’s largest dry dock.
– A perfect match
Many of the oil and gas installations in the
North Sea are reaching the end of their operating
period and also the lifespan of which they
were designed. Proposals for decommissioning
them are being prepared by the operators, and
connected to this a whole new industry is under
establishment.
«With the unique facilities at Lutelandet, our
industrial site will be a perfect match for your
oil and gas platform for decades to come, says
CEO of LLOF», Tor Gjertsen.
Logistic services on hand
«We are near to our clients offshore projects,
supporting oil and gas operators and suppliers in
the oil and gas industry. LLOF can manage their
onshore storage and integrated logistics services
of various needs. Large areas are available for
storage and inspection», Gjertsen explains.
LLOF can offer third party inspection of critical
materials, maintenance of equipment and can also
provide project management and management
of supply chain contracts and procurement. LLOF
also cooperate with large international companies
in order to provide the costumer with the best
service available.
Fulfills current and future market needs
Lutelandet’s unique geographical location and
infrastructure fulfills the demands of an offshore
industrial site, both technically and environmentally,
with the ability to meet both current
and future market needs.
«The need for IRM of existing and new vessels
will always be present as long as wildcat drilling
and other activities exist offshore. LLOF will win
shares of this market», says Gjertsen.
Future in the wind
