Just when you thought winter in<br />
Durban couldn’t get any better!<br />
There’s real snow in the heart of <strong>Umhl</strong>anga,<br />
every day! It’s go, go, go at Gateway during<br />
the winter holidays. At Snow Wonderland<br />
there’s a snow pit for free play. Experience<br />
the fun whilst you build a snowman or<br />
make a snow angel. Feel the thrill of sailing<br />
down the slopes on a tube. There are three<br />
rides to choose from and one just for the<br />
kiddies. Keep an eye on the kids from<br />
the coffee shop and seating area. It costs<br />
R95 for 45 minutes all access and R50 for<br />
spectators and group bookings, combo<br />

Imagine watching a beautiful<br />
Shakespeare production in an open<br />
air theatre, under the moonlight ... well now<br />
you can! We were thrilled to hear about<br />
Kickstart’s enchanting new rendition of<br />
the famous comedy, A Midsummer Night’s<br />
Dream, which is being presented in the<br />
magical, moonlit Botanic Gardens from 23<br />
<strong>July</strong> to 1 August. A classic tale of mistaken<br />
lovers, mischievous fairies and hilariously<br />
muddled amateur actors, the show is<br />
promised to be classy, classic, naughty<br />
and loads of fun! Take along a cushion and<br />
blanket to keep you warm! Details: Tickets<br />

It may be a little chillier in the mornings, but that doesn’t mean<br />
that you can’t still be active – and have fun at the same time! Why<br />
not join the Traderoot Active monthly charity run, in collaboration<br />
with the Dolphin Coast Striders and Salt Rock Coffee, for a<br />
#GetActive 5km or 10km run? The run takes place on the first<br />
Sunday of every month and starts at 7am at Salt Rock Coffee. You<br />
can bring your friends and family and make a morning of it - and<br />
there is a free coffee or water for all participants! The monthly event<br />
is organised by Traderoot Active, an impact investment project,<br />
that encourages participation in sporting events and activities and<br />
raises funds for recognised organisations that support and sustain<br />
