KANONKOP ESTATE WINE
Kanonkop is a fourth-generation family estate. Renowned for their red
wines and sometimes described as being the South African Equivalent
of a Premier Cru or First Growth. Pinotage makes up 50% of all plantings;
some of the vines being the first commercially planted on the Cape
and most are over 50 years old. 2017 saw Kanonkop win the prestigious
IWSC International Winemaker of the Year award, reflecting the quality
of their wines across the range.
