Surely one of the world’s most remote distilleries (located in a quiet corner
on the Isle of Skye), Talisker has a reputation for producing premium single
malt whisky. Its 18yr old has won awards including “Best Single Malt in the
World”. Ultra-premium limited releases include the exceptional 41yr Old
1978 Bodega Series and the 24yr Old 1953 Connoisseur’s Choice, with the
latter matured in sherry oak casks.

ARDBEG
Ardbeg distillery is located on the Island of Islay, with the present distillery
established in 1815. Unsurprisingly, the whiskies from here display the
peaty, robust aromas that are typical of Islay malts. Ardbeg was acquired
by LVMH in 2005 and continues to produce whiskies in a characteristically
rich, earthy style.
