So – it comes with all the bling…. How
does she sing?
Well rather well actually – exactly
what you’d expect from a modern 300
2-stroke enduro machine. Ben popped
the suspension onto a softer setting coz
he reckons we are all a bit fat (lockdown
you know…) The KYB has great adjustability
and the clickers are very sensitive
to even the most minor adjustments.
The bike starts easily via the happy
button. The Kei Hin carb feeds the fuel
into the head via V-force Read valves.
Blip the throttle and you’re rewarded with
a crisp burst of 2-smoke. The clutch is
soft, the gearshifter positive, open the
throttle.

stroke mill sings along at a rate of knots.
Big whoop – no need to tap off – she
flies and lands noice and soft – and – it’s
all just so easy. Aim for the steep rutted
climb in the back here. At speed the bike
would do just great, but… stop.
Hit the softer power button, engage
first and literally crawl up… that ignition
switch tames everything down and
allows the Michelin rubber and KYB
suspension to find traction in the slippery
gravel without spinning all over the shop.

but is so quick and nimble when you

A lot of this lekkerness is caused by that
pipe that delivers a lot of torque off idle
and helps the bike to scream along at the
top. It’s easy to understand why this bike
is successful in the world of hard Enduro.
The bike feels small, light and pretty
compact, the torque is excellent and with
the switch in soft mode she’ll drag you
up and down all day long.
But if you want to go fast and hit those
trails, she’s quick as anything and absolutely
brilliant fun. And oh yes!
She looks very different to any other 300
on the market.

The bike feels light and small. Everything
seems to fit quite well, the gripper seat is
comfy and it’s easy to move around. The
handlebar bend on the Factory and the
Selle Dalla Valle seat put you in the great
riding position. Oxia bars are used, bolted

brutal – just strong and predictable –
they have tuned this carb just right! Most
