Phil has been at the forefront of a
number of combined policing initiatives
across both Spotland and Norden, of
greatest note is his support for policing
operations on local moors, the impact
of which has been beneficial for local
people and visitors alike. We wish Phil all
the best for the future.

The answer is that, after a number of
years of excellent service to our Village,
our Community Beat Manager, PC
Martin Giblin, is moving to fill the post
vacated by the departure of PC Jones.
Our new Community Beat Manager is
PC Saba Twidale, and we look forward
to welcoming her as she starts her new
role within Norden.
With the easing of lockdown, our
policing team have been making
strenuous efforts to meet residents
face to face and several meetings

opportunity for dialogue. Hopefully, this
level of engagement will be maintained
throughout the Winter months; please
watch out for future dates and venues
being announced in Streetwise and on
social media.
