"Aub" as he was called was found dead in a hotel room. He had taken his bank deposit to the city to deposit it and<br />
they found him two days later with his face and neck eaten away from drinking Phenol, (a caustic substance made<br />
from wood tars). The police said it was suicide but the family thought it was murder. He had inadvertently turned<br />
in a drug dealer to the feds. He also served one year in prison for growing marijuana on his farm.<br />

Notes for MYRTLE MAE COLLINS:<br />
Myrtle was a big woman in a small package. She was only five foot two inches tall but could work circles around<br />
most other people. She kept a spotless house as well as picking cotton, canning food and sewing for the children.<br />
She never lived in a house with indoor plumbing or electricity. Myrtle always cooked meals on a wood burning or<br />
kerosene stove. She loved sour milk even though she was told not to drink it, she did drink it and was dead three<br />
days later. Cause of death was Nephritis.<br />

Joe was a man of meager means and liked it that way (less to worry about). He did farming for other people, was<br />
a nightwatchman for the Reclamation Bureau and a cowboy. He was six feet six inches tall. He didn't stay in one<br />
place long. When you saw him in the fields kicking dirt clods, you knew it was time to start packing. Cause of<br />
death was a heart attack followed by a stroke.<br />
