Believe Samual to be the unnamed brother of Dillard because of the following reasons. 1. The 1870 Mo.
census shows Samual and Dillard with consecutive dwelling and family numbers. 2. The 1860 Mo. census
shows Sally Collins, age 80, born in Va. residing with Samual (S.R.) Collins. 3. In the book, "Cemetery
Inscriptions of Salt Fork, Old" pgs. 20-21, Old Lamine Cemetery, Collins, Samuel, b. 5 Jun 1822 d. 9
Cooper County, Mo. 17 Feb 1863. These facts lead me to believe that Sarah was the 2nd wife of Richard, and
Samuel R., their son (Dillards half brother).
All members of Samuel's family, including his sister Frances Madison Kincaid and her family were members
of the Lamine Christian Church.
Nathaniel married twice. First to Susan Burrow, "Somewhere in Tennessee, just across the line from Alabama".
