I hope the troubles
that have befallen the
company subside
because this is the very
reason we need them to
survive - Ballistic brew
exceptional beer. Hands
down, they are amongst
the top five breweries
in this state. Dry, bitter,
hoppy and with a hell of
a punch, this truly unique
rendition is incredible. It
is absolutely the duck’s
proverbials.
I must confess I have
a soft spot for Belgian
blondes and whilst this
one was nice, it was very
subtle in its flavour. I was
hoping to be smacked
in the gob with big notes
of banana and lemon
zest but it was so, so
very delicate and light. I
wanted a passionate kiss
but alas got a peck on the
cheek.
Crown the king, or
queen, this operation is
it. I have deliberated for
long enough but time
and time again they
knock your socks off.
The Hop Zombie series is
still possibly the all-time
favourite but Dr Hoptavius
is giving it a run for the
money, can artwork
included. Sweet malts,
citrus, berries and stone
fruit take your tastebuds
on a flavour sensation.
Stop it!
Who said you wouldn’t
want to drink one of these
after a hot, hard day in
the fields? The last thing I
would feel like is a bland,
watery beer that doesn’t
take the pain away. This is
the Power Trip. The hard
work you have endured
will be washed away with
every sip as you sing
your very own rendition
of Ice T’s classic “Power”
trip. This bitter, punchy
resinous pine and citrus
Molotov cocktail is sure to
get the party started.
