Industry partners

Our industry partners include Prospect Change,

Corporate Travel Management and Eurocamp.

There is no shortage of people who want to

holiday in other cities and countries, which

means there will always be jobs in the travel

and tourism sector. With our Higher Technical

and Professional courses in International Travel

and Tourism Management, you will gain a

qualification that provides you with a clear

line of sight into employment in this truly

global industry.

At HNC level, not only will you gain a wellrounded

knowledge of the contemporary

travel and tourism industry, but you will also

get the chance to choose from optional modules

such as Corporate Travel Management, Tour

Operations and Marketing for Travel and Tourism.

These specialist modules provide something to

suit your future progression plans, in addition

to the opportunity to develop transferable skills

useful for work and higher education, including

research skills, the ability to meet deadlines and

communication skills.

You will be equipped with the practical,

interpersonal and thinking skills that are

essential for a job in this sector.

We enrich your student experience by offering

a number of exciting trips, team activities and

projects, and access to industry specialist

speakers who deliver high quality guest lectures.

Work placement opportunities will be provided;

however, they are optional and come with an

additional fee.

If you successfully complete your HNC and

decide to progress onto our HND with Events

specialist pathway, you will expand and apply

your knowledge of tourism consumer behaviour,

learn how to develop an events experience,

and gain an understanding of global events and

corporate events management. You will also

undertake a research project.

Upon completion of the HND in International

Travel and Tourism Management (Events), you

will be ready to work in a vast variety of job roles

or continue onto further study at university.
