with programme tutors to provide support and guidance,
ensuring a student’s individual needs are met.
We have dedicated areas for you to study with access to
a range of assistive hardware and software. You may be
eligible for the Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA) to
help cover any additional costs.
The team can provide one-to-one
support for a range of needs, including:

• Deaf or hard of hearing
• Dyslexia and other specific
learning difficulties
• Medical conditions
• Physical disabilities
• Social and emotional needs

Financial support
The College’s HE Student Finance team can help
with Student Finance and administers a range
of funds to support students facing financial
difficulties. Some types of support may depend
on your household income, the programme you
are enrolled into, and your age.
Please refer to Fees and Funding on page 14
for more information on the types of financial
support available.
(Please note our HE Student Finance Team is a
separate entity to Student Finance England).
Student health service
Bradford Student Health Service is a dedicated
NHS GP service providing comprehensive
health care for students. Students who choose
to live in the practice area can register with
the doctors and have access to specialist
treatment. All consultations and treatments
are strictly confidential.
