trip with eight reputable national media publishers
The association promoted its range of health and wellbeing offers with a comprehensive programme dedicated to rest and relaxation

de Turismo de Gran Canaria, organizó entre el
28 de abril y el 1 de mayo un viaje de prensa con
ocho reconocidos medios nacionales con el fin
de promocionar su oferta de salud y bienestar,
contando con la participación de las revistas Elle,
Woman, Semana, Cuore, Viajar, 20 Minutos-Viajes,
Mujer Hoy y Fuera de Serie y sumando aproximadamente
20 millones de lectores. Además, el
viaje se complementó con actividades náuticas y
al aire libre en colaboración con las asociaciones
Gran Canaria Blue y Gran Canaria Natural & Active.
Durante su estancia, los representantes pudieron
conocer los hoteles adscritos a Gran Canaria

The Gran Canaria Spa, Wellness & Health association,
the official tourism brand of Gran Canaria, organised
a press trip between 28th April and 1st May with eight
high profile national media publishers to promote its
health and wellness offer. Participants included Elle,
Woman, Semana, Cuore, Viajar, 20 Minutos-Viajes, Mujer
Hoy and Fuera de Serie, who together account for
a total of approximately 20 million readers. In addition,
the trip was complemented with nautical and outdoor
activities in collaboration with Gran Canaria Blue and
Gran Canaria Natural & Active.
During their stay, the representatives became familiar
with the hotels belonging to the Gran Canaria Spa,
Wellness & Health association. "Salobre Hotel Resort &
Serenity" was the starting point of an unforgettable trip,
a dream accommodation boasting breathtaking views
from the tranquillity of its pool on the eleventh floor.
To connect with their inner selves, participants took part
in a dawn yoga session at Maspalomas Dunes, a restorative
session that was followed by a relaxing treatment
at the "Seaside Palm Beach" hotel and its acclaimed
gastronomy.
They were also treated to a sea water circuit at the “Gloria
Palace San Agustín Thalasso & Hotel” and slipped
into a deep sense of wellbeing at its exclusive ‘Harmony
Zone’.
Another of the locations visited was the "Hotel Rural La
Hacienda del Buen Suceso", located in Arucas, where
they enjoyed a hearty brunch amidst the sea of banana
trees that surround this magical spot.
A relaxing afternoon at the "Perchel Beach Club" was
also too good to pass up. At this family beach club, the
guests put on their swimming costumes to go paddle
surfing with "BD Surf School", a nautical activity that
guaranteed fun and laughter for all.
By the end of their trip, the guests had to say farewell
to several days in Gran Canaria where exquisite food,
nature, fun and, above all, relaxation prevailed. The trip
enabled them to disconnect in order to reconnect.

Serenity” supuso el punto de partida de un viaje
inolvidable. Un alojamiento de ensueño que
aportó vistas impresionantes desde su tranquila
piscina en el onceavo piso.
Para conectar con el yo interior se realizó una
práctica de yoga al amanecer en las Dunas de
Maspalomas. Una sesión reparadora que fue
seguida por un relajante tratamiento en el hotel
“Seaside Palm Beach” y su alabada gastronomía.
Además, pudieron adentrarse en el circuito de
agua de mar de “Gloria Palace San Agustín Thalasso
& Hotel” y profundizar en la sensación de
bienestar en su exclusiva ‘Zona Harmony’.

Paddle Surf con BD Surf School
Otra de las localizaciones visitadas fue el “Hotel
Rural La Hacienda del Buen Suceso”, enclavado
en Arucas, para disfrutar de un brunch entre el
mar de plataneras que arropa este mágico rincón.
Tampoco pudo faltar una tarde de relax en
“Perchel Beach Club”. En este beach club familiar,
los invitados se pusieron el bañador para
practicar paddle surf con “BD Surf School”, una
actividad náutica que garantizó diversión y risas.
Llegado a su fin, los invitados tuvieron que decir
adiós a varias jornadas en Gran Canaria donde
primó la exquisita comida, la naturaleza, la diversión
y, ante todo, el descanso. Todo un viaje
dedicado a desconectar para volver a conectar.
