Delray Under $50
Most Fun Small Town, Most Crazy Small Town, Most Small Town that Feels
Like a Big Town. Delray has it all. With a bustling downtown, Pineapple
Grove area, and little nooks and crannies in between, there’s more
to do in Delray now than ever, with events and happenings
spanning from daytime to nighttime. While it can
seem expensive at times, there’s a great
opportunity to enjoy all the City has to offer
without breaking the bank. Here’s what you can
do in Delray Beach in September for $50 or less.
8th Annual Downtown Delray Beach Restaurant Month
You’re busy, you’re tired, but you’re hungry. Even hangry.
You might even have a partner and some offspring who are
famished, too. What. To. Do. Think, act, enjoy! September
is International Strategic Thinking Month and is the absolute
perfect time to head downtown for some mess-free, hassle-free
and dollar-saving grub. The crowds are less, the temperature
is finally cooling off slightly, and you’re in full work and school
swing, which means you need a break. This is why the Eighth Annual
Downtown Delray Beach Restaurant Month is calling your
name. For the entire month of September, more than 30 local
restaurants, cafes, fast-casual establishments and eateries have
expertly crafted special multi-course prix size lunch and dinner
menus, happy hour and brunch specials, and culinary events, all
with a goal to fill you up but not empty your wallet. Expect to enjoy
tasty treats from Amar Mediterranean Bistro, Bar 25, Dada,
Drift Restaurant & Bar, The Grove Restaurant, Racks Fish House &
Oyster Bar, Two Fat Cookies, and more. Try one, try them all, just
make sure to give your kitchen a break and let someone else do
the cooking and cleaning for you. Reservations aren’t mandatory
but are encouraged! For specific restaurant information and more
details about Restaurant Month, please visit www.downtowndelraybeach.com
Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival
It’s Fall, ya’ll! Well, we as Floridians use the term “Fall” loosely,
but it’s still worth getting excited about. September is Fall Hat
Month so grab your hat and head outdoors because we’ve got a
craft festival to attend. The Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival
is once again back in town and is a great way to spend a couple of
hours over the weekend enjoying the outdoors, possibly finding a
new piece for your home, and obviously not passing up on some
of the Avenue’s refreshing cocktails. The Festival is located at the
intersection of Fourth Avenue and Atlantic Avenue and features
crafters from across the nation. You can expect to peruse jewelry,
artwork, photography, woodwork, sculpture, soaps/lotions, candles,
ceramics/clay/pottery, and much more! It’s a perfect-sized
event, too, as it’s not too large or too small, so you can make a
couple rounds if you’d like. You can even get your holiday shop-
