5 Ways to Optimize<br />

Your Results!<br />

Looking to get the most out of your time in the<br />

gym or speed up your results? Here are 5 tips<br />

to ensure your mind and booty are in the game!<br />

1. Go in with a GOAL!<br />

Have a specific goal in mind! It could be to finish a<br />

set without stopping, it could be to go 5lb heavier, it<br />

could be to rest less. Pick something that is doable<br />

and that will make you feel accomplished! It<br />

doesn’t have to be anything crazy either, just<br />

something that will keep your mind engaged<br />

and your body pushing through. I usually<br />

imagine my booty in a bathing suit bottom,<br />

that usually does the trick for me!<br />

2. Push YOURSELF!!<br />

I see way too many clients slacking!<br />

Stopping way before they could. Picking<br />

up weights that are too light, just generally<br />

going half ass! And these are clients<br />

that we can SEE! I can only imagine<br />

what goes on for virtual clients that we<br />

don’t see. If you’re constantly picking<br />

up the same weight day after day, and<br />

resting too much, you’re not going to<br />

see the results that you could be seeing!<br />

To change your body, you need to<br />

push your body! Get out of your comfort<br />

zone! Working out doesn’t always feel<br />

good. Feeling amazing and being<br />

healthy does!<br />

3. Focus on YOU!<br />

Don’t compare yourself to anyone<br />

else! Everyone is on a different journey with<br />

different goals. You are your only competition!<br />

Don’t waste time wondering what<br />

speed your neighbor on the treadmill is on,<br />

focus on doing YOUR best! YOU are your<br />

own competition.<br />

4. Go in with GRATITUDE!<br />

Approach your workout with a POSITIVE mindset.<br />

Focus on the fact that you GET to workout,<br />

not that you “have” to workout! Be grateful that<br />

you’re able bodied, alive, and healthy. If you go<br />

through the workout saying, “I don’t want to do<br />

this,” “This sucks,” etc., then chances are it’s<br />

going to show in your performance. Mindset<br />

is everything and what’s going on in your<br />

head, is going to show in your workout.<br />

It’s only 1 hour, 4% of your day, give<br />

yourself that time.<br />

5. Go HEAVY!<br />

As most of you already know,<br />

lifting heavy weights is not going<br />

to make you bulky. Going heavier<br />

on the weights will help you burn<br />

more calories and transform your<br />

body faster! You can always drop<br />

down to lighter weights if you<br />

need to! But if you don’t at least<br />

TRY or attempt to pick up that<br />

heavier weight, then you’ll never<br />

know what you’re capable of! You<br />

might just surprise yourself!<br />

And lastly, remind yourself<br />

this: The only workout you’ll really<br />

REGRET is the one that DIDN’T<br />

happen!<br />
