(57) Abstract :<br />

The present invention relates to <strong>the</strong> manufacture <strong>of</strong> novel molecular sieve adsorbents for <strong>the</strong> separation <strong>of</strong> a gaseous<br />

mixture <strong>of</strong> oxygen, nitrogen and argon. The adsorbent is useful for <strong>the</strong> separation <strong>of</strong> oxygen and / or nitrogen from<br />

air. More specifically, <strong>the</strong> invention relates to <strong>the</strong> manufacture <strong>of</strong> a molecular sieve adsorbent, which is selective<br />

towards nitrogen from its gaseous mixture with oxygen and / or argon and argon from its gaseous mixture with<br />

oxygen.<br />
