1305 1966 160cc Ducati Monza Junior
Reg No. AVG 149D
Frame No.22932
Engine No.DM160 22932
The distinctive Monza would have been, according to the
date of manufacture, one of the first imported batch into the
UK. Bearing a Norwich registration number it has been in
relatively recent use, the last tax disc expired in April 2010,
but would benefit from some attention in the workshop.
Appearing to be correct in most respects the very collectable
Ducati would make a rewarding project and is supplied with
current V5 documentation.
Estimate £800 - £1,200
1306 1952 500cc Matchless G80S
Reg No. EX 7506
Frame No.88025
Engine No.52/G80S 21948
The Norwich registered G80S appears to be in standard trim
throughout complete with the distinctive ‘jam-pot’ rear
suspension units. In long term ownership the Smiths speedo’
shows just under 11,000 miles and the G80S is presented in
‘straight from the shed’ condition with the headlamp
internals being the only obvious components missing. V5
documentation is supplied.
Estimate £1,000 - £2,000
1307 1952 650cc BSA A10
Reg No. NLU 743
Frame No.ZA7S 11038
Engine No.ZA10 1541
This pre-unit A10 twin in its plunger frame comes straight out
of the workshop and was clearly in the middle of its creation.
As viewed the primary chain case is missing and some 1970’s
Triumph style annular silencers have been fitted. The A10
would form the basis of a nice special or could be brought
back to original specification. The NW London registered
machine is supplied with V5 documentation.
Estimate £1,000 - £1,500
1308 1966 750cc Norton Atlas
Reg No. FEC 69D
Frame No.20-119519
Engine No.C20 119519
A completely rebuilt and restored machine which has utilised
all of its original tin-ware. The vendor relates that he
purchased the machine some years ago as a restored example
but it was clearly not up to scratch, as a result he set too and
provided the Atlas with some TLC. The engine has been
completely rebuilt and balanced and is fitted with Lucas
electronic ignition, a Norvill belt primary drive and a
Commando diaphragm clutch. The original Amal carburettors
were in a worn condition and have been replaced with a
single Mikuni unit. A new wiring loom is installed and both
speedo and rev counter have been reconditioned, a Norvill
twin leading shoe unit is also fitted along with a stiffening kit
to the rebuilt forks. In the meantime less than 1,000 miles
have been covered but a yearly trip to the MOT station has
been kept up. Whilst the 45 year old machine is now
thoroughly refreshed the vendor feels that he is not, Anno
Domini having taken its toll, the Atlas is offered for sale with
a number of spares including a bare cylinder head, the MOT
will have expired by the time of sale and current V5
documents are supplied. A very nice example indeed.
Estimate £5,500 - £6,000
All lots are sold strictly as seen without warranty, purchasers are urged to satisfy themselves
prior to the sale as to the condition of each lot and whether the lot accords with its description.
