No: D21 OUB Frame No: MT001595 Engine No: 212124 The 4 valve Rotax powered Armstrongs were supplied to the UK military prior to being sold off to Harley Davidson who took over the contract in1987. The kickstart only machines are superbly rugged and quite competent off road thus making an ideal green lane machine. This example is stated to be in running order and complete with V5 documentation. Mot expired 02/11. Estimate £500 - £900 1319 1924 2.75hp Douglas SW/24 Reg. No. FK 2081 Frame No.71105 Engine No.70372 The Douglas has remained within the same Worcestershire village for its entire 87 year life. Having undergone only necessary repairs in its operating lifetime the Dudley registered SW is in unrestored and original condition and has passed between village acquaintances and has been in the current family ownership for many many years. With an acetylene headlamp and generator and original 1927 tax disc in place further provenance is supplied with the original buff logbook dating from February 1925 indicating a period of showroom life after its first registration date of April 1924. Remarkable paperwork survivors include the original factory despatch card, Certificate of Weight and delivery tags. Also supplied with a current V5 document this is as original a pre-war example of the 2 speed, belt drive Douglas SW as it is likely to be possible to find and it is related that it was last driven 2 years ago to the village fete. Estimate £6,000 - £7,000 1320 1959 250cc Ariel Arrow Reg No. RSJ 551 Frame No.T5813A Engine No.T5823A This Arrow was supplied new to Watson Motorcycle Works of Leominster (still a going concern) on the 21st July 1959. It was later exported to the Channel Islands and was not repatriated until the early 1990’s when, we are informed, it was comprehensively restored and UK registered. The Arrow was then ridden precisely 223 miles before being laid up until 2010 when it was recommissioned and MOT’d, since then it has covered only one mile!. Offered for sale with a comprehensive restoration file including a photographic record, various correspondence, Owners Club dating certificate, original handbook, old MOT’s and current V5 certificate. The bike currently forms part of a private collection and was last run just six months ago. Estimate £1,200 - £1,800

Having been barn stored for many years the vendor reports this majorly complete machine will benefit from refurbishing and is supplied without documentation Estimate £400 - £600 1322 1972 49cc Puch Maxi Reg No. YVG 57L Frame No.5263844 Engine No. TBA One of the most popular step thru mopeds of the 1970’s the Puch Maxi was supplied in a variety of colours of which the purple example is now the most sought after. This barn find machine is stated to be in good condition and running well although a service would be a requirement. The V5 document is unavailable but the Norwich registration number is still recorded with the DVLA and a copy document should be obtainable on the submission of the V62 form Estimate £200 - £300 1323 1969 49cc Honda PC50 Reg No. HRO 38G Frame No.PC50EAE35742 Engine No.1025484 The Honda PC50 was introduced in May 1969 making this pre August 1969 machine one of the first of this highly successful model. The vendor states that it starts easily, rides well, is complete and original and is in good condition. No documents are supplied but the presence of a 1973 tax disc should assist the return of the original number. Estimate £200 - £400 1324 1952 200cc Velocette LE200 Mk2 Reg No. NUR 840 Frame No.15553 Engine No.17015 The advanced design of the LE did nothing to convince the conservative motorcycling public of the 1950’s to part with their money in droves and the majority of machines went straight to Police Forces and Local Authorities. NUR 840 is one of the few examples that was sold straight into civilian hands and, until the turn of the century, had not left Hertfordshire. Last MOT’d in 1999 the LE has covered just 15,500 miles from new according to the vendor and is in consequent good over all condition. In running order it is expected to have a new MOT by the time of sale.
