Too little, too late and the NVT group collapsed in the same year that this Easy Rider was produced. Last on the road in 1995, borne out by the MOT from that year, the vendor states that it was running well recently and has only 400 recorded miles which are believed to be genuine. Offered for sale with original sales brochure, guarantee card (out of warrantee we suspect), riders handbook and V5 document. An opportunity to buy the last of the line. Estimate £200 - £400 1326 1975 175cc CZ 175 Reg No. JMV 382N Frame No.001417 Engine No.073632 In the days of the Iron Curtain the Soviet system served to crush innovation and individualism, many motorcycle manufacturers with proud pre-war success worked quietly behind the scenes to develop their products. The CZ 175 is one such machine, solid and reliable workhorse that was a popular ride to work machine for many with a consequent low survival rate into the modern era. The 175 is complete with V5 but has been barn stored for many years and will require recommissioning prior to use. Estimate £200 - £300 1327 1949 150cc Velocette LE Mk1 Reg No. BCN 363 Frame No.2309 Engine No.2341 Finished in blue this 1949 example of the first LE has been barn stored for many years, a good and complete example fitted with period accessory panniers that will require a little TLC. Offered without documentation although the registration number is still recorded with the DVLA so a replacement document should be obtainable. Estimate £400 - £600 1328 1959 650cc Triumph 6T Thunderbird In May 1959 the Triumph factory sponsored a rally to Brussells called Operation TOGA (Triumph Owners Go Abroad) which involved 318 participants aboard 188 bikes including 31 sidecar outfits one of which was this Thunderbird. The rally was led by Triumph chief Edward Turner who was captured on film aboard 892 ANX which belonged to proud new owners Hazel and Bill Roachard. The Thunderbird has now been freshly restored to a high standard by a well known Essex based restorer and is finished in the factory correct charcoal grey and black. The vendor states that the Triumph runs perfectly well and has a fresh MOT. A very finely restored example of the marque with that rarest of associations to the guru of motorcycle design, supplied with a current MOT, V5C documentation and ready to show and ride. 1329 1984 800cc BMW R80RT Outfit Reg No. A348 WEV Frame No.6424197 Engine No.TBA This example of the 800cc RT (Reise Tourer) has been <strong>full</strong>y modified to cope with the magnificent Hedingham single seat sidecar and is suitably equipped with the correct profile tyres and Earles style leading link forks. In long term ownership during which the sidecar has never been sat in but merely used as a toolbox and shopping trolley. With 74,239 recorded miles the BMW started and ran well on inspection. These are noticeably strong and reliable engines and this model was much favoured by the Police Force. Requiring some elbow grease to get it back into presentable condition it is nonetheless a good workhorse with a current MOT valid until May 2012 and V5C documentation. Estimate £600 - £800 1331 1980 750cc Suzuki GSX750 Reg No. MNK 4V Frame No.500888 Engine No.GS75X101424 A customised street style machine that has been fitted with flat bars, Harris 4-1 exhaust system, Telefix fork brace and box section swinging arm. In quite presentable condition with a good red finish, the vendor states that it has been unused since 1995 and therefore will require recommissioning. Supplied with current V5 documentation. The shaft drive step thru has just 7,169 miles under its belt and has been affectionately dubbed Ethyl after the distinctive registration number.
