ITEM [ 7 ] CONFIGURATION FILE SETUP -
This selection on the main menu selects the Configuration File Setup screen.
This is the same screen that is initially presented when installing the Oculus-
F/64 driver. Select this item if you need to make changes to Oculus-F/64 file
locations. Refer to the description near the beginning of this section for more
information.
ITEM [ 8 ] CANCEL CONFIGURATION PROGRAM
Select this item if you wish to quit the configuration program without making
any changes.
ITEM [ 9 ] SAVE CURRENT CONFIGURATION AND QUIT
Select this item when you have completed the Oculus-F/64 configuration. The
ODX.INI file will be updated with all modified parameters.
Windows applications for the Oculus-F/64 (such as F64PRO) automatically
utilize the configuration information in ODX.INI via the ODF64.DLL (see
Oculus-F/64 windows development toolkit for implementation information).
For DOS Oculus-F/64 applications, the Oculus-F/64 driver interface (which
reads the ODX.INI file), is loaded into memory via the F64.BAT file.
F64.BAT needs to be executed before any Oculus-F/64 DOS application can
run. Thus F64.BAT can be executed from AUTOEXEC.BAT for
convenience, and only needs to be run again between computer boot-ups if the
configuration of the Oculus-F/64 is changed.
