Please read these conditions carefully as<br />
they apply to all Qantas Holidays bookings.<br />
Suppliers: Qantas Holidays is not itself a<br />
transport, tour, event or accommodation<br />
provider. In making your travel<br />
arrangements we act only as an agent<br />
for the airlines, hotels, tour operators and<br />
other suppliers who supply those services.<br />
You should obtain and read the applicable<br />
supplier’s terms and conditions as they<br />
may limit or exclude their liability to you.<br />
How to book: Contact your licensed<br />
AFTA travel consultant, who will be<br />
responsible for managing your booking<br />
and forwarding your payment to us. You<br />
will be deemed to have accepted these<br />
conditions on behalf of everyone named in<br />
your booking. Please note that all requests<br />
for bookings are subject to availability.<br />
Booking fee: Your travel agency may<br />
apply a booking fee in addition to the<br />
price of your holiday package. Please<br />
check at the time of booking.<br />
Payment: A non-refundable deposit<br />
is payable within seven days of<br />
confirmation of your booking:<br />
• domestic (within Australia) $55<br />
per person<br />
• international $165 per person<br />
• plus any additional deposit required<br />
by suppliers (you will be notified at the<br />
time of booking)<br />
Payment of the balance in full is required<br />
at least 30 days before the scheduled<br />
commencement of your holiday (or earlier<br />
if specified for the particular package).<br />
For bookings made within this period,<br />
full payment is required at the time of<br />
booking.<br />
If you have not paid by the due date,<br />
we may cancel your booking and retain<br />
your deposit.<br />
Cancellations: If you cancel your booking,<br />
the amount of your deposit will not be<br />
refunded, including deposits required by<br />
suppliers. If you have paid the balance<br />
of your holiday price, suppliers may also<br />
impose cancellation fees amounting to<br />
all or part of the total price paid. Once<br />
your holiday has commenced, you<br />
cannot cancel or obtain a refund on any<br />
component of your booking regardless of<br />
whether you use it.<br />
Changes by you: If you change your<br />
holiday package and your documents<br />
need to be reissued, a change fee is<br />
payable at the time of the change:<br />
• domestic (within Australia) $27<br />
• international $25<br />
• plus any cancellation / change fee<br />
imposed by suppliers for any component<br />
you cancel.<br />
Unforseen changes: If we have to change<br />
any part of your booking, for example, if<br />
an airline changes its schedules or your<br />
chosen accommodation is no longer<br />
available, or if there is an increase in the<br />
price due to additional taxes or supplier<br />
charges, we will notify you. You will have<br />
the option of cancelling your booking,<br />
in which case we will refund the amount<br />
you have paid, less any cancellation fees<br />
imposed by other suppliers.<br />
International travel: Each passenger is<br />
responsible for their own visa, passport<br />
(with at least 6 months validity),<br />
immigration, quarantine, customs, health<br />
and other requirements of the countries<br />
to be visited or transited through. Qantas<br />
Holidays makes no representations as<br />
to the safety, conditions or other issues<br />
that may arise at any destination. Travel<br />
advice is available from the Australian<br />
Government at smartraveller.gov.au.<br />
Limit of liability: To the maximum<br />
extent permitted by law, Qantas Holidays<br />
excludes all liability for direct, indirect,<br />
consequential or incidental damages,<br />
lost profits or savings or damages for<br />
disappointment. Our liability for a breach<br />
of condition or warranty implied by law or<br />
otherwise, and which cannot be excluded,<br />
is limited to the extent possible, at our<br />
option to the supply of the services again<br />
or the payment of the cost of having the<br />
services supplied again.<br />
Insurance: Consider purchasing<br />
travel insurance.<br />
Brochure validity: The prices and<br />
inclusions in this brochure are valid for the<br />
dates specified and should be used only<br />
as a guide in relation to other dates. The<br />
prices are correct at date of publication<br />
but may fluctuate due to changes in<br />
surcharges, fees, taxes and currency.<br />
Please check all prices, availability and<br />
other information with your travel<br />
consultant before booking.<br />
Booking conditions 155<br />
Descriptions: Product descriptions and<br />
pictures are generally provided by the<br />
suppliers. Facilities may change from<br />
time to time. Pictures may not show the<br />
particular room, décor, view or other<br />
specifications included in your booking.<br />
Please check all details with your travel<br />
consultant before booking. Anything<br />
not specifically included in the holiday<br />
package is at your expense.<br />
NOTE: Many images are supplied courtesy of hotels, tour operators,<br />
tourist bureaus and suppliers.<br />
Privacy: Qantas Holidays collects<br />
information about you (including health<br />
information where necessary) to provide<br />
products and services to you, process<br />
your travel arrangements, facilitate<br />
your participation in loyalty programs<br />
and conduct marketing activities and<br />
market research. If the information is not<br />
provided, Qantas Holidays may not be<br />
able to provide the service requested.<br />
Qantas Holidays may disclose your<br />
personal information to its related<br />
companies, carriers, travel service<br />
providers, organisations which provide<br />
services to Qantas Holidays (more details<br />
are available in our Privacy Statement on<br />
our website www.qantas.com/holidays)<br />
and various law enforcement agencies,<br />
airports and governments around<br />
the world for security, customs and<br />
immigration purposes. You may<br />
gain access to the information Qantas<br />
Holidays holds about you by contacting<br />
Qantas Holidays Customer Relations in<br />

Law of contract: These conditions are<br />
governed by the laws of Australia and<br />
any action arising under them or in any<br />
way connected with a Qantas Holidays<br />
package may be brought only in a court<br />
in Australia, subject to any law which is<br />
expressly inconsistent with this.<br />
