SRDC BUSINESS<br />
<strong>Research</strong> Priorities<br />
The SRDC uses its fi ve-year <strong>Research</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />
<strong>Development</strong> Plan 2007–2012 to guide its<br />
program investments. The Plan was developed<br />
with extensive industry, government <strong>and</strong><br />
stakeholder consultation <strong>and</strong> is evaluated<br />
annually as part of the production of the AOP.<br />
The <strong>Corporation</strong>’s investments address the<br />
National <strong>Research</strong> Priorities <strong>and</strong> the Rural R&D<br />
Priorities of the Australian Government.<br />
National <strong>Research</strong> Priorities<br />
SRDC considers the four National <strong>Research</strong><br />
Priorities in its selection of projects:<br />
��an environmentally sustainable Australia<br />
��promoting <strong>and</strong> maintaining good health<br />
��frontier technologies for building <strong>and</strong><br />
transforming Australian industries<br />
��safeguarding Australia.<br />
