reactor temperature was assumed to be 350 EC(660oF) and design<br />

<strong>NOx</strong> removal efficiency was 80 percent. Since the reactor, heat<br />

exchanger, and gas heater design strongly depend upon the flow<br />

rate of flue gas to be treated, the equipment costs for the model<br />

Table 6-14 presents estimated capital costs for the eight<br />

model plants. Direct and indirect installation costs were<br />

assumed to be 45 and 33 percent of PEC, respectively, and an<br />

additional 20 percent contingency cost was added to determine<br />
