In the event of MI Junct|on ~ becoming blocked traffic
should be re-directed south to Ju~tlon 35 where the following
emergency route will be slgnposted:
Turn right at ,335 |rite ~ley
Lane - Mill Lane - turn left into
Grmnoside - turn left back on A61.

1. In the event of Sheffield Road, Tinmley becoming blocked
traffic can be temporarily diverted along the following route:
Under the viaduct - turn left into Mmadowhall Road - Barrow
Road - turn left Tyler Street - Holywell Road - Carlslle Street
East - into Sower Street (back on advised route).

In the event of Wooden Street becoming blocked traffic may
diverted as follows:
Along Attercliffe Common
Bridge turn right into Sutherland

4. Any Nottingham tra÷÷ic leaving the motorway at Junction 33 -
Sheffield Parkway, will be directed to leave the Parkway at
Prince o~ Wale~_ Road - Staniforth Road - Attercli~.~e Road-
Sutherland Street - back onto advised route. This route has been
signed by the A.A.
5. In the event o÷ traffic tailing back onto the motorway at M1
Junction 34, tra{fic will be diverted north to leave at junction
35 and proceed as follows:
Turn le~t into Cowley Hill - turn le~t into Nether Lane - at
traffic lights turn le÷t onto The Cease n - Cross Hill -
Highgreave - Bmrn£1ey Road - Longley Lens - Herries Road.
